Our Authors Are Sharing Stories! Heartwarming Thursday

I’m so excited, and I know you’re going to be too! Three of Thoughts on Plot’s regular contributors, Patricia Bradley, Liz Johnson and Jessica R. Patch, will be discussing what makes a good romance at Romance Writers Share Stories this weekend!

Jess and Liz

The event is taking place at M. R. Davis Public Library in Southaven, Mississippi on Saturday, February 6, from 1pm to 2pm!

Patricia’s new release, Shadows of the Past, is the first book in the Logan Point series, and it released this month through Revell! Here’s a little sneak peak:

While she’s stalking the truth . . . someone is stalking her.

Psychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve–the disappearance of her father twenty years ago. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point, Mississippi, to investigate. But as she works to uncover the truth, someone else will do almost anything to keep her from it.

Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife–a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. Now that his estranged brother is the only family he has left, Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.

Join the chase as Taylor and Nick search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present–and moving into a future they never imagined.

Liz Johnson’s latest, Navy Seal Security, has me doing a double-take. That’s a fine looking Navy Seal, Ms. Johnson! Here’s a sneak peak:

Wounded navy SEAL Luke Dunham’s only goal is returning to active duty…until he rescues his physical therapist from a lethal attack. Now he’ll risk everything—even his recovery—to keep Mandy Berg’s attacker at bay. Mandy’s been burned before when she trusted the wrong man. And she knows better than to develop feelings for one of her patients. Yet how can she help falling for a man who doesn’t hesitate to use his strength and skill and put his very life in harm’s way to keep her safe? Relying on anyone feels dangerous…but turning away Luke’s protection could be deadly.

And Jessica R. Patch’s debut, Fatal Reunion, will keep you turning pages LONG past your bedtime! Here’s a sneak peek:

When her beloved grandmother is almost killed during a home invasion, Piper Kennedy isn’t surprised that she’s a suspect—especially since Luke Ransom is on the case. The handsome detective she once loved thinks she knows more than she’s telling about the attack. And given her crooked past and the heartbreaking way she’d been forced to betray Luke years ago, Piper understands why he doesn’t trust her. But when attempts are made on her life, Luke insists on keeping her safe and finding out who wants her dead. And Piper and Luke soon realize a remorseless criminal will do anything to keep them from the truth…or an unexpected second shot at a future.

We’re proud of our authors! I just wished I lived closer so I could attend this fabulous event!

Congratulations, ladies!!
